State Rep. Candidates for HD 80 Attend Forum to Answer Questions from the Voters

Brookhaven, GA – The Cobblestone HOA hosted a forum for the candidates running for the open State Representative position for District 80. The event, intended to be hosted at the community pool, was rained out and subsequently moved to the residence of Mike Buzzard.

All four candidates were in attendance: Catherine Bernard, Loren Collins, J. Max Davis, and Taylor Bennett. Each candidate was allotted a five minute introduction and ten minutes to answer questions from the audience. The candidates’ names were drawn from a hat in order to determine the order in which they would present. Each candidate shared their early beginnings, professional experience and vision for the open seat of HD80.

Ms. Bernard spoke of her efforts to establish and maintain transparency, ethical practices and the necessity to properly govern and protect our children’s future educational opportunities. She also stressed the importance of voter turnout in this Special Election and voter opportunity to secure effective and ethical representation.

The evening ended with one on one dialogue for each candidate to answer further questions of the community.

This was the first forum accepted by all four candidates.
